Thursday 14 February 2019 saw some very brave men attend the meeting of Erdemont Mark Lodge, when Bro. Danny Spencer (below centre) was advanced to the Honourable Degree of Mark Master Mason.
The Provincial Grand Master, RW. Bro. Archie Torrance (below right), even paid one of his "lightning" visits to be present to witness the ceremony. The Lodge was very pleased to welcome such a distinguished visitor.
Bro. Danny, an Assistant Provincial Grand Master in the Craft and an organist of much repute, was welcomed into the Lodge and appeared to have a thoroughly good time as he entered upon his career in the Mark Degree. His proposer, W.Bro. Peter Reader (below left), joined Bro. Danny and the Provincial Grand Master for a photograph to preserve the occasion for posterity.
We all look forward to sharing many happy years with Bro Danny in the "Friendly Degree" of Mark Masonry.
